The short version

1. About us

Myndzet is run by [companyName] (company number [companyNumber]), of [address]. You can contact us at [email].

2. Who can use Myndzet

You must be 18 or over to create an account. Your children use Myndzet through your account. By creating an account you confirm you are a parent or legal guardian of the children you add, or that you have their parent's or guardian's permission.

3. What Myndzet is, and what it is not

4. Private beta

While Myndzet is in private beta it is free to use by invitation. It may contain mistakes, features may change or be withdrawn, and we welcome your feedback. We will tell you before paid plans start and you will not be charged without agreeing to a price.

5. Paid plans

When paid plans start, the planned prices are £9.99 a month or £79.99 a year, including VAT where it applies, with a 7-day free trial. Before you pay, we will show you the price and what is included. Payments are taken by Stripe. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

6. Your account

7. Using Myndzet properly

Please do not:

We may block text that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that does.

8. Our content

We own, or have permission to use, the questions, passages, designs and software in Myndzet. Some reading passages come from books that are in the public domain, and others we wrote ourselves. You may use Myndzet for your family's own personal practice. All other rights are reserved.

If you spot a mistake in a question, please use the "Report a mistake" button. It helps every child who uses the service.

9. If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep Myndzet available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be free from interruptions or errors. We will always take reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, and our total responsibility to you for any one problem is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.

11. Changes

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or paid plans. We will email you before a change that matters takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

12. Complaints and the law

If you have a complaint, please email [email] and we will reply within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts.
